7th November, 2013 : Sri Rockybul Hussain, Hon'ble Minister of Environment & Forest, P&RD, Govt. of Assam flagged off the Common Services Centre Outreach Program in Assam from District Library, Dhubri which will cover 13 districts. A mobile exhibition Van equipped with Laptops, LED Screen, e-Governance Awareness materials etc, along with a team will visit the Arunodoy CSCs in each disricts and will give a hands on experience about the various public services available in the Centres. The highlights of the exhibition includes educating the common people through street plays, Audio Visual programs. The campaign is being conducted by NeGD, Dept. of Information Technology, Govt. of India in collaboration with Information Technology Dept., Govt. of Assam & AMTRON, which aims to take the message of e- Governance to the remote part of the state.
