RBI has organized a financial outreach Camp at Dungabori village of Morigaon District on 30th November'2011. RBI Governor Dr.S.SUBBARAO was the chief guest of the programme accompanied by the CMD's of SBI, UBI, regional director of RBI, DC of Morigaon District any many other respected persons of different Bank's and organizations. SBI had put up a stall for kiosk banking operation which the honorable Governor of RBI and higher authority of different Bank's had visited. Two CSP operatorsof M/s Zoom Developers viz. Shri. Paramananda Deka of Dungabori village and Shri Abhijit Chanda of Nakhula village had enrolled almost 30 nos.of No-Frill A/c of the local people on the spot. Honorable Governor had also made small conversations with the CSP operators. UBI, P&B, CANARA BANK, ASSAM GRAMIN VIKASH BANK, SIDBI, UNION BANK, ALAHABAD BANK were the some other participants of the exhibition. The SHG's financed by different Bank's and M/s NEDFI were also present. The RBI Governor spoke on the importance of children education and asked the villagers to come to the CSP's and generate a relation with Bank. He also informed the various schemes of Bank's which were available only for the villagers and cultivators and asked all the people to come forward and take the advantage of these schemes. As a whole, the entire programme was a energy booster not only for the common people who were still unaware of having a good relation with Bank's.
