Common Wealth Express Train Exhibition 2010 at Mariani Railway Station, Jorhat District on 22-07-2010
The meeting held at a function in Mariani Railway Station was anchored by Sri D.M. Sarmah, DPRO, Jorhat and honouble Education minister Sri Gautam Bora chaired as Chief Guest of the meeting.The other distinguished guest present on the dias was honouble MLA, Jorhat Sri Rana Goswami, honouble MLA , Mariani Sri Rupjyoti Kurmi, Sri R.C.Jain, Deputy Commissioner of Jorhat, Sri Debojit Hazarika SP, Jorhat, Sri Putul Buragohain, President District Council, Sri J.Saikia ,SDO( civil), Srimoti Jullimoni Deka, President Town Committee,Mariani, Sri Kamaljyoti Gogoi, Asst. Inspector of School, Sri Ananda Gambhir, Asst. Jonal Manager, Tinsukia Divn. Railway.
In the beginning a chorous was arranged by renowned artist of Mariani Sri Tarun Saikia and his group. After that welcome address was given by Sri R.C.Jain, Deputy commissioner of Jorhat and elaborated about the programme. Sri Rana Goswami and Sri Rupjyoti Kurmi honouble MLA of Jorhat and Mariani respectively addressed the occasion. Finally honouble Education Minister opened the Commonwealth Express Train Exhibition to the Public.
Smt. Trivenee Saikia, Best VLE of Jorhat district, Sri Gaurav Bharali Boruah, Best VLE of Sibsagar district and Sri Sanjay Shreja were felicitated by honouble Education Minister Sri Gautam Bora with a citation and a desktop Printer.
